IS IT NOT AWESOME?

GO TELL CRYSOTHEMIS HOW AWESOME IT IS!

It's not so much that I like seeing Sheppard get dominated by Wraith Queens, tied to chairs and/or posts, flung through the air, beaten up, or shot -- but seeing so many of these instances all at once is pretty much hilarious. XD Especially as it brings home juts how much it happens! Oh, Lordy. Fail, Shep. Just... Fail. XD

P.S. There's clips after the credits, too!

Much as Rodney may call John "Kirk" now and then, this vidder makes an argument for a closer comparison being Han Solo. (Although John seems to see himself as more of a Luke Skywalker, at least when he's flying Wraith Darts and in desperate need of R2-D2's help. ;3) Cleverly put together with three different Leias, but of course, only one Chewie. ;3

*ahem*

Every member of the USAF is a representative of the US government (and its allies) and the USAF and thus must act accordingly. In addition, the USAF's mission is dependant upon the work and ethics of the individual. The USAF has identified three core values that must be upheld by all personnel: "Integrity first, service before self and excellence in all we do."

He's definitely got the first two down...

Fighter pilot is an attitude. It is cockiness. It is aggressiveness. It is self-confidence. It is a streak of rebelliousness, and it is competitiveness. But there's something else - there's a spark. There's a desire to be good. To do well; In the eyes of your peers, and in your own mind.

Do you like Blue Beetle and Booster Gold?

Do you like Rodney McKay and John Sheppard?

Okay, so, the upcoming episode "Outcast" will be revealing some of John Sheppard's background. Here's a few tidbits from the 'gate wiki and a con Q&A with Joe Flanigan that I thought were interesting.

I shall of course put them under a cut, since they are SPOILERS )

Do you like the icon? :D It's a Christmasy sort of Atlantis-in-a-snowglobe. Embarrassingly, I just got it, but I somehow didn't snag the maker's name, and the way I found their journal was a little... convoluted. (Clicking f-list to f-list can be fun!) So if you know who made this, please tell me; I really think it's great, and I would love to credit them. It's by [livejournal.com profile] beeej! :D

Below the cut you will find my commentary on the Stargate: Atlantis episode "Miller's Crossing". I will be making specific reference to events of the episode, which constitute spoilers -- but I won't be providing a synopsis, so if you haven't seen the episode, not only will you be spoiled, you'll potentially be confused. So don't say you weren't warned.

If you don't want to be spoiled yet, then all you need to know is this: I PHYSICALLY FLAILED.

IN CONCLUSION: I'm gonna go watch it again.
