That seems to be what the musical version of Wicked is like. Certainly a lot of the religious and political content of the book seem to be missing. Pretty sure the show's Elphaba isn't the Wizard's never-acknowledged daughter by a married woman, either.

Not because of the clothing, itself, but because Namor + clothing is like a cat + clothing; so much seething, indignant hatred would be coming off of that man.
