I'm pretty sure that the reaction this author was hoping for when she wrote and posted this story with a sex scene full of repeated confessions of love and deep, meaningful relationship talk was not hysterical giggling and eventually having to scroll past to a more serious section because being able to breath would be nice.

It is a very good thing she can't see me reading her stuff, then, since that is exactly what keeps happening. XD

It's actually John and Rodney. And to be fair I can kinda see Rodey talking openly and honestly about his feelings, but probably not while orgasming. And John starting off such a discussion? John who can't even get "you are my friend, I care about you" into words and instead requires Teyla to interpret weird faces and vague hand gestures for him? John explaining his motivations, why something troubles him, and what that means for their relationship?

Well, I suppose it is an AU. XD

John: ...Yeah. Ditto.

John: *suddenly on floor* I-- hey!

XD Yeah, I've actually read fic like that, as well. I'll be honest, I laughed, but they were probably more in-character for the canon guys than what I just read.

Well, the sex was at least physically possible and if they hadn't been yapping the whole way through, it might even have been hot. I'm really not sure, I was distracted. XD

I dunno, the bit of it I got through, they seemed to be intent on really communicating their feelings, y'know? XD I'm laughing again just thinking about it. It was so out of character! And unlikely anyway!
