I have not read the relevant issue, either! XD Someone posted the relevant page (http://pics.livejournal.com/eliyes/pic/00053py9) in a f-locked post on my f-list and I called up my FLCS and had them put a copy aside for me. I will probably get it tomorrow, and then I can tell you all about it.
Okay, I bought the issue! And so I can confirm that the last two paragraphs here (http://www.shatteringtheearth.com/ThePairing.html) about cover it. With links to scanned pages! (I am so lazy.)
I make that typo all the time -- and now that I have clarification on the point, I can tell you that I for one don't think it's bad. Personally, I wonder if this is a set-up for next issue, slightly -- this time next month is Pride Week!
