this morning's destruction
Mar. 13th, 2009 01:19 pmSo this morning I get up and my throat is thick and in need of tea. I put on the kettle and I select my tea bag (mint tisane), and give a rinse to the heavy glass mug/tankard I intend to use. In goes the bag, in goes the water, CRACK! goes the glass, and suddenly there's tea all over the counter!
It split perfectly in half. Not even on the seam.

Date: 2009-03-16 04:49 pm (UTC)Well, I got mine from a bar, technically. My friend was a security guard for a site in a bar-heavy part of town, and a drunk dude she ousted from sleeping on her benches left it behind. X3 So she washed it and claimed it as salvage. Made an awesome tea mug for years.
