It's actually not nearly as well done as the other one I showed you, but since they are never ever bringing the game those duelling scenes are from over here, it's very special to us~

Apr. 8th, 2006 06:36 pmToday I caught myself humming Hohoemi no Bakudan (thats 'Bomb of Smile' or 'Explosive Smile', roughly), one of the themes from Yu Yu Hakusho.
So, taking it as a sign like a good fangirl, I poked YouTube for the series name and found this reasonably awesome fanvid. Now, the picture quality changes, and I'm not known as a huge fan of rap (although I don't hate it) but I really like this. They have good use of footage from the series and the OAV vs. Yakumo (which means, you know, SQUEE GREEN SWORDSMAN SQUEE) (and also that I'm pretty sure I spotted my fave member of Kuwa's gang, d'awwww), and they spelled Kurama 'Karama' (whoopsie) But what really gets me is that the song is pretty appropriate. And it works for all of them.
Finally, a good fighting show fanvid. :)
Now if I can just get those two Utena videos again... the ones to Peace & Love, Inc. and Dweezil and Ahmet Zappa's cover of Hit Me Baby One More Time (they are freakin' dubbed in time with the music it is so awesome) I will be happy.
Edit: ...as it occurs to me to search thos vids on YouTube and what do you know? :D this may be the single most awesome fanvid EVER! KATHERINE! I command thee to watch this vid! (By which I meansinfonica, but of course elusivebard is welcome to, too! :3 You might have to watch it more than once just to catch all the action. There are crazy wonderful split screens.
