Between the Lines by friendshipper is a very nicely done gen retrospective on the changes that John Sheppard (and others, but he's the focus) have gone through over the course of the series. Spoilers up to "Doppleganger" (though not so much for that episode, really). It's a friendship thing. :3

This is an insightful little essay on the difference between how trauma is dealt with in fiction (primarily American and Victorian) and in real life. Give it a read, she has some good points.


In completely other news, I'm 5 pages into a "drabble" I was writing, with a projected 3 pages to go. Heh. And here I thought I could write another little short thing....
