So. Some of you know - but most don't - that shortly before I joined livejournal, I suffered an apartment flood. Source: exploding water tank for the laundry room which was (against code) in our closet. It had been leaking for two weeks and they hadn't replaced it yet, and then at 5am I woke up to the Crazy Woman From Across The Hall pounding on my door and screaming, put my foot on the floor... an inch under water. Many electrocutions of water tank guys and a new floor later, we had lost... well, some stuff. Some really expensive out of print books from NASA, for example. But not a huge horrible amount.

We didn't have any warning this time.

I guess that's all for now. I don't expect to have much access to computers this week; I don't work Monday, Tues and Wednes I'm at the Nat. His. Museum instead of here... Thursday I have an exam, so I might be able to log on at school. Wish me luck on my exam!
