and then suddenly, jelly shots!
Apr. 17th, 2013 02:58 amOkay, I don't even really drink, and I'm not all that fond of jello much of the time, and yet many recipes at the Jelly Shot Test Kitchen are tempting. They're just so pretty!
And there's a bunch of Harry Potter themed ones, I've found Butterbeer, Chocolate Frogs, and Polyjuice Potion so far!
Not to mention waffles, bats, four different kinds of rainbow, and of course pistachio pudding shots, heh heh heh...
(I feel like my inner Guy Gardner is judging me. XD That's what you get for hanging around in my subconscious lately, Guy!)

I made pineapple curry chicken with couscous for dinner, and it's delicious.
I made just the right amount of pineapple chicken curry, but waaaaay too much couscous. (I pretty much always overestimate how much couscous to make.)
Therefore, I will probably take couscous with me for lunch tomorrow. Any suggestions of what to have it with? (I have more pineapple. Also more chicken - and beef, and I think pork.)
Tai left a copy of The Great Book of Couscous in the washroom, so I will consult that as well.

delicious foodmeats
Dec. 14th, 2012 03:03 pmWe bought a whole bbq chicken! Pre-cooked, already cold, stuck it in the fridge.
My lunch consisted of a few slices of chicken on bread, shake of mesquite spice over it, grate on some mozza, other bread slice, nuke for 15 seconds, nom happily with a side of pickled beets whilst browsing a cookware catalogue online.
Dessert is a mint Aero christmas tree. X3

Apr. 3rd, 2006 01:12 pmBreakfast: 50g/one pouch of Men's Pocky.
Lunch: Sandwich experiment! Three open-faced sandwiches built comme ça:
* slice of white bread
* mustard
* ketchup
* diced sweet pickles (only had enough for two of them)
* fried mushrooms and onions
It was good. I'm not sure that it would have worked if the fired stuff had been as greasy as, say, Dad makes them. Probably still would have bene good though.
Yet to come - Dinner: fresh spaghetti. Mmmmm. <3 :9
