Additionally, a few very mildly spoilery comments about recent issue sof X-Factor, X-Men, and The Flash:
X-factor continues to be the Jamie + Terry&Monet show. No Rictor or Rahne or Guido in this issue either. *sigh* I applaud a choice Jamie made and disparage at least one that Monet made. Terry, when did you become such a pushover? God!
X-Men "resurrected" every character injured in the previous issue -- except Bobby. Didn't even see mention of him. So, despite a rather clever use of Sabretooth on Cable's part, I did not purchase it.
The Flash had some cute text happenin'. :3
I did buy a few more back-issues of the first X-Factor series and Holy God I had no idea that Cameron Hodge was so deeply deeply the spurned-love-made-me-crazy* type. Seriously, has anyone ever called Angel beautiful so many times in an issue besides this guy? I'm not suggesting homoerotic content, here (but I'm not denying the possibilty - Hodge is crazy, it's hard to tell), but it was stunning. Every use of this character since (with the possible exception of Inferno) did him a great disservice. Shit, man. That was seriously great writing!
*Not just love. Jealousy and "I want to be you" and wishing he's been the one to become special so he could just catch up to Warren, too.
