Yeah, I suspect it's broken. I didn't have it set that hot. We had an oven a couple of living places ago where the thing that senses when the oven has heated to the requested temp had rusted and fallen off so it always went to the maximum. Which made bread explode when we tried to bake it! We're gonna try to bake pizza today and if trouble continues, we'll tell the super. He already had to replace our fridge.
