It's the 31st anniversary of Canadarm's first use in space as today's Google-art informs us, and so, this conversation happened when I pointed this out to kiffie:

eliyes: Rhodey: What's up?
Tony: I think Dummy has a girlfriend. From Canada.
kiffie: *dying*

kiffie: Rhodey: Isn't that a little far away?
Tony: Actually, she'll only be 20 miles away in... now.
eliyes: the astronauts are slightly concerned when Canadarm flails in an excited fashion one day during alpha shift's breakfast and then sends a long coded transmission to the server for export back to Earth
eliyes: Dummy: *rolls over to a window and waaaaaaves*
kiffie: This is a crackfic that must be written, mah ely
eliyes: Dummy, much like his dad, appreciates ambitious "women"

"You know, a date, Pep! To the gala. Well, she can't be there in person, but we rigged up a little video screen on his Starkphone..."

eliyes: her vital stats are the lengths of her main joints XD

eliyes: Dummy was made when Tony was 17, so he's probably a few years older than her, but that's okay

eliyes: he looks youthful because he's young at heart

eliyes: *pictures Dummy with a little tuxedo black tie*

kiffie: Pepper made it for him. She thinks he looks classy. :3
eliyes: Dummy: *discovers one of the astronauts has helpfully put a glittery frame-filter over Canadarm's tranmission camera*
