Wind energy! Tech breakthrough with new turbine design: the Wind Lens! It looks cool. :3

U.S. broadens legal definition of rape to include more than just violent vaginal penetration by a man's penis while the woman fights. There are so many more kinds, including situations where a person is unable to give consent. I am glad they got on the ball with this, but what the hell took them so long?!

...I realise this is a strange combo.

I think the Wind Lens is awesome! I am all for Wind Power. Wind turbines are so cool looking. In Washington I would get to see them everywhere. In California, there is a place if you are on the freeway you come over a large hill and there is nothing but green grass and wind turbines everywhere. So beautiful!

I love how they are trying to develop a way to have these Wind Lens farms out in the ocean! :D

And I saw the news about the definition of rape a while ago. Also found it disturbing that it hadn't been done a long time ago.

I can only figure that they were waiting for enough cases of legal precedent or something like that, but yikes!

I am all for Wind Power.

So am I, but there's been losts of really venal petty resistance to it in these parts. "Wind pollution" they complain, and "hazard to birds", and "eyesore devaluing neighbouring property", even!

We need green energy! We are running out of other kinds!
