eliyesI'm being plagued by a fic idea I know I could make work, but it would be useless, because few people would want to read the result.
Biker Mice From Mars/The Question/Gargoyles.
Yeeeargh.
I already have scenes. I know how it happens. Charley goes to NYC for a trade convention, runs into Q at a deli, and is plagued by phone calls from Vinnie. Q is in town looking for Matt because he wants to test him to see if he's ready to really start dealing with The Conspiracy. Elisa and Matt are on alert because Xanatos in involved with the convention - he's going to reveal something big. Plutarkian technology may be involved. Q and Charley keep crossing paths as they both try to investigate what's going on and he tries to bring Matt into it but slowly, and Elisa and Matt are already trying to investigate the Xanatos angle.
Charley's reaction to seeing a gargoyle, even flying overhead, should logically be hysterically funny. She and Elisa should totally get to kibitz on the perils of associating with isolated groups of nonhuman men and the chaos and weirdness they bring into one's life, while Matt and Q plot.
Meanwhile, back in Chicago... I could already fill a fic with just what the Mice are getting up to with Charley gone. Like, for instance, attempting illegally descramble the Playboy channel and accidentally knocking out the cable entirely, thus necessitating a raid on Charley's movie collection and interesting discoveries therein, leading to a moping Vinnie, leading to trying to figure out how to order clothing either from a catalogue or online. And lots of calling Charley on the phone.
....and as I post this, my icon choice? Makes we wish they'd shown us more original time period Gargoyles. :( Not that I'd write a ROAR crossover. No sir.
