elf needs food badly
Jun. 2nd, 2006 05:36 amThis is a post about the Question, sparked by soemthing I noticed whilst reading 52.
He's really not bothering to try to disguise his identity anymore, is he? I mean okay, faceless, granted. But faceless with red hair. His suit is black and his trench is tan. He doesn't even wear a hat! (although Montoya doodled him in a fedora). It makes me wonder if it's the same person under there...
His dialogue so far has been fun. Every time I read it, though, I hear his cartoon voice, which is the same voice as Wheyoon (sp?) from Deep Space Nine, only less gay and a bit less sly. That's not a bad thing, exactly, but it's doing some weird things to my brain. Like, now I need to assign Gul Dukat's voice to somebody. And maybe alba is right and the Question should meet Matt Bluestone, just to add yet another "Star Trek voice" to the Gargoyles world. And then have the both of them end up in Star Trek, looking at the rows of clones of Wheyoon waiting to be activated, when another Wheyoon comes in to check the system and the discover it's the same voice and look at all these clones and then Matt starts becoming convinced that Q is an alien that abducted him, and Q doesn't want to take off themask to prove him wrong, because then Matt would know who he is and might actually think he's an alien anyway.
Still. He's amusing me.
