The tree itself was easy to put up. (The main obstacle was interested cats.)

However, the lights...

One set is frayed right above the plug. Bare copper wire. No idea how it happened. The other just plain won't work, by gummity.

I am buying lights tonight while I am at work, and TOMORROW WE'LL SEE.
