-Write down twenty of your favorite pairings/threesomes/etc.
-Put your media player on shuffle. The number of the song corresponds to the number of the pairing.
-Quote a part of the song that you think has any similarity with the couple.
I was worried I couldn't think of 20 couples, but then I discovered that it was hard to keep the list that short! I guess I don't usually have so many of my fandoms floating around at once.

Um, I can't get a decent translation (as opposed to transliteration) for this, but it's a sweet, kinda bouncy song about memories of their time together and how (I think) they might not be meant to stay together, but that won't stop them from being together in their heart? (Please someone correct me if I'm totally off-base, it's been a long time since I took Japanese.) I guess this works okay for after they met in the forest.

I think I could parlay this into something about Granby having to get over his pre-conceptions about Laurence (because of his jerk friend) and make the choice to serve with him whole-heartedly... but I think I'd be stretching.

If I'm understanding this right, then it would work pretty well for when Kirk and Spock were apart in the years before the first movie -- apart and regretting it.

While I think both of them might like the music, and the frenetic energy works well for "SHIT SUDDENLY THERE IS WAR", it doens't really work terribly well for them as a couple.
I mean, unless they're chasing after the kids. X3

You know, I don't think Barry owns a car? They're a comic book couple that's been around since the Golden Age, it could totally happen. Vroom-vroooooom! ♥

Well, you can take this one of four ways. First, LOL SCI FI. Second, Sam has had a number of robot or Replicator doubles. I'm not saying Rodney would build another one... Third, more seriously, you can take stuff like the lyrics quoted above to heart re: looking past the exteriour and becoming friends, which Sam and Rodney did. Fourth, you can take stuff like this:

Oh, no. They're so nice.
...and imagine your very own co-rant or argument or sarcastic back-and-forth about being too trusting/paranoid, refusing to see consequences of science/alliance with aliens (something close to the quick for them both), and possibly a digression about Montreal and snobbery. With voices. (Because Sam and I both giggle when Rodney does voices. If you seen the SG-1 episode "Redemption" you know I'm right.)
Yeah. XD It's not a romantic song by any stretch of the imagination, but it sorta works.

Alright. Let's consider that Ista was a madwoman for nearly 20 years. "Crazy old Royina, eh?" And then there's Illvin's genius with twisty plots to consider, and the fact that both of them have a calling to serve the Bastard, the master of (among other things) demons, and Ista's mouth is essentially a holy gate to hell. So.... it's not like this song is entirely inappropriate. ;3

A song addressing the Christian god from someone who has lost/is losing faith/feels betrayed is a very strange result to try to apply to a love affair between Egyptian deities.

Okay, I am tickled pink to have gotten a song in French about pretty girls who are light on their feet for this pairing. ♥ The good-natured haggling between the youngest princess and the wheat-seller is not so far off from the kind of teasing flirtation Bobbi and Paul engage in. ;3
