I finally got around to watching the movies Kat gave me the Christmas before last. I had already watched 13 to 30 (and will likely watch it again), but even though that was quite a while ago, I think it's a better film than Win a Date With Tad Hamilton. However, Nathan Lane was in the later, which I didn't knowuntil it started. I <3 Nathan Lane for soem reason, so that was good.
I also watched The Scarlet Pimpernel, starring Leslie Howard. Now, I never got to watch the A&E miniseries because it was on when I was at work, so in my mind, the Pimpernel has long been represented by Anthony Andrews, who played him in the first film about the Pimpernel I saw. I still like that onebetter, but it's obvious that Andrews must have been inspired by Howard's performance.He rolls his voice the same way, for one. Howard was excellent.
Someday I will get my hands on the stories Baroness Orczy wrote. Last time I went looking, they had only just been sold. ;_;
I also watched the music videos included on the first two remastered DVD editions of (the original) Bubblegum Crisis. Alba makes a guest appearance! :D
