God, it WAS. I Print near split my lip over here! Meanwhile, I have now officially read every piece of text there is on the webpage. All the books. All the short stories. All the character files and image commentaries and even the FAQ. I AM DONE. \o/
I wish I could say that for my various bookseries that I am involved in. I fear I shall never finish all of the Pimpernel books, nor The Dresden Files. For kiffies are a lazy bunch.
That was awesome! I loved that whole "Honeymoon sequence"! And also how Jeremy was way more invested in Simon that Simon would admit to being in return. Which actually made me very mad at Simon when he was recovering from the Rich thing, but I eventually got over it.
I LOVED the honeymoon sequence too! And was very jealous because lets be honest, Nevis in the summer >> Edinburgh in the winter.
The investment imbalance was nice too, because it felt real, but I really really wanted to 'hear' the conversation between Jeremy and Simon before the honeymoon sequence, because I wanted to hear Simon recognise and apologise for being a dick, and see him squirm, because you know Jeremy would 'hmm' or 'ah' in just the right ways to make him do it. (I can totally see why the author didn't, from a pacing / big reveal standpoint, though.) The end was redeeming, but I'll be honest, Simon'll never really be my favourite character from the series.
