eta: Except the Doctor would probably just think the bees are cute and start communicating with them or whatever. Six episodes later he has to deal with the consequences of having started them on the Road To Empai-yah! :O

My brain is offering me one of two situations:
a) the builder guys in Fraggle Rock! :D Doozers! :D
b) crossover with Earthworm Jim. The new Companion would therefore have to be Queen Pulsating, Bloated, Festering, Sweaty, Pus-filled, Malformed, Slug-for-a-Butt. IT'S LOVE, BAY-BEE!
