Hubert bitching in the other room.
;_; I miss my cockateil (Bogart) and budgie (Jubilee). And also neen's cockateil (Bart) and budgie (Jewel).
And yet I am agaisnt my workplace buying a parrot. Too late. Poor guy; the rats will eat him.

I must admit that pie usually makes me happy. as does cheesecake.

Tell me about Kingdom of Heaven, I don't think I've heard of it.

Who is Hawksong by?

*gasp* You listen to Heather Alexander too?

*hugs and bugs and confetti*

Kingdom of Heaven came out about a year or two ago. It's about the Crusades, and how much war absolutely makes no frikkin' sense. It also has hot Arab guys with recurve bows. =D

Hawksong is by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes. She's a young author, but writes quite well. On the same type of book, I also recommend Half-Human, a collection of short stories by various authors, introduced by Bruce Coville.

And... yes! My friend regularly drags me off to her concerts at the Dragonmarsh. I'm slowly trying to get all of her CDs, but it's hard. I can never seem to save moneys... XD

Well, it's not as bad as it was. I started when I was a kid, I think I'm developing coping mechanisms now.

But the moodswings are random and I generally only know'm having one when people start going "Why are you being such a BITCH??!?!?!" or I find myself bawling over previews before the movie I'm watching even starts. So. *coughs*

ANyway. I rather be happy and full of glee. :)

Yay! Katherine! *hugshugshugshugsHUGS!*

What did you do to your voice that you can only whisper? Got sick? Cheered too much at the play?

*gasp* Have you seen Casanova? Was it good? I really want to see it! :D Yesterday I re-discovered where I had first seen Heath Ledger: the series ROAR. But I just switched out all my old livejounal icons, so my ROAR icon went away. Anywya, that movie looks really cute and exactly like something I'd like.

I like your hair, your loyalty, and your ability to talk none stop all the way from Halifax to Riverview thus keeping me awake.

Yay hair! Thinking of getting it trimmed, it's getting winter ends. :3 And thank you *bows* for the compliment about my loyalty; I do try. And I am a chatterbox, but usually it means I'm happy. ^o^

I like your sense of humour, Kat.

Livejournal is a little hard to figure out at first, I admit. If you want to put this meme in your livejournal, I recommnd the following steps:
1. Copy and paste the blank questionnaire from my post here into notepad so you don'tloseit.
2. Go to the menu across the top of the page and put your cursor over "Journal", then over "Update". Click on Update.
3. Paste the questionnaire into the larger "box" under "Entry:".
4. Optional: look a thte Options nde rhte main entry area and put in what music you're listening to or thinking of, check out the mood selections and click on one, change your avatar if you have more than one, tag your entry as meme if you like... You learn to play with this as you go.
5. Click on the button that says "Update Journal".

oh yes I also meant to comment on Casanova. It was light fluffy and fun. My absolute favourite thing about it is the consistent use of period music throughout. Though some of it was French and not Italian. It's forgivable. However I was a little shocked that they used only instrumental and didn't delve into the wealth of dirty madrigals from that time. not that any of the viewing public would know they were all that dirty seeing as they'd be in Italian.

It was light fluffy and fun.

Yes. *does a dance* Good! That's what it looks like.

some of it was French and not Italian.

Well, we can pretend that some of the French stuff had gotten extremely popular.

However I was a little shocked that they used only instrumental and didn't delve into the wealth of dirty madrigals from that time. not that any of the viewing public would know they were all that dirty seeing as they'd be in Italian.

Actually, I think there's a lot better chance of the viewing public having a grasp of Italian in parts of the states, which might be exactly why they didn't put in said madrigals....
