Ehhhn. *waves hand* Not my favourite episode ever, but it didn't suck. I've been wanting to see something Teyla focussed, but this wasn't really what I had in mind.

Just a couple of thoughts:
1. From the look of Teyla's quarters, she either wasn't lying to repli!Weir about her baby and his father being offworld, or else afterwards decided that it was a good idea.
2. Todd is totally planning to welsh on the whole gene therapy thing.
3. At the end of the episode, John says they're better off. I guess I agree: now the Wraith they thought had mucho power in his Hive posse actually has that power. Should he? I dunno -- but at least they know who they're dealing with for real.

Four words: "Face of the Enemy."

...which, you must understand, is a compliment coming from me, as it's one of the few TNG episodes where I actually like Troi. I thought this episode was interesting because of the whole spying/trying not to get caught thing. Then again, I'm not very familiar with the SGA characters yet.

Two more: "First Contact (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_Contact_(Star_Trek:_The_Next_Generation))"

Troi got more likeable as time went on, I feel.

I suppose you could draw comparisons between Troi and Teyla, in that they are both tiny pretty people with psychic powers. However, Teyla could probably give Worf a run for his money hand-to-hand and has the diplomatic acumen of a galactic ambassador -- which she is. Plus she's an excellent singer. And a terrible cook. :3 Actually, it would be interesting to see them interact. Teyla was very dubious about the whole psychiatry/therapy thing when she first had to deal with it, but ended up forming a strong friendship with the psychiatrist and giving her a lot of respect.
