There's been a few cons (notably ComicCon) where there was an MLP room for making custom ponies. I mentioned Michael Shanks above, who plays Dr. Daniel Jackson -- there was a general Stargate panel where all the panelists were given or shown ponies based on their characters. :3 Hundreds of people making custom ponies, they said! All in one place! Sounds pretty fun.

I don't watch that...I watch so very little TV. But my friend raves about SGA and Battlestar Galactica, and BN has Tricia Helfer on it this season so I finally have turned him into a Michael Westen fan ;)

I don't have cable! :D I am blessed with friends who lend me DVDs of things and such, once they get me totally addicted brainwash me introduce me to a show I end up liking. ;3

I don't have HBO and I need it for a new show hitting it this fall: True Blood. Maybe I can try and wait for the DVD. But its based on my new favorite series of books, eep.

But then again, I might be at boot camp then so it wouldn't matter :/

Well, if you're at boot camp you'll be able to get DVDs of it eventually, afterwards. Or get someone to record it for you?

How long is Coast Guard boot camp in the states? I mean, up here it depends what you're specializing in and if you want to be a Fleet Officer. Anywhere from 23 weeks to 4 years.

8 weeks but I have no clue where I might end up afterwards for additional schooling and how long that would be. I qualify for any job but aviation because of my eyesight so who knows where they'll send me?
