Aug. 13th, 2009 05:14 pmI bought a Star Trek TOS communicator keychain. X3 It makes sounds! Phaser fire, and a bunch of quotes. The most appropriate one is probably "Kirk to Enterprise. Enterprise... Enterprise, come in. Kirk to Enterprise." There also some Bones and some Spock. Yes.
All of these I tested in the store.
And then I got it home, took it out of the packaging, closed the metal mesh* lid, opened it again -- and it made the noise. The "opening a communicator" noise! ♥ Oh, I am ridiculously happy.
eta: Oh ho! Closing the communicator resets the soundclip loop! :D
* Actually plastic. It is a keychain, after all.
