a new fun thing for stargate fans

jack_built is a comm featuring stories set in an AU where Jack O'Neill is the superintendent of an apartment building whose tenants include 20-something versions of many fanfave characters from SG-1 and SGA. Anyway can write for the AU and it doesn't have to match anyone else's continuity for it. I just read through what's there and it's mostly a tonne of fun. Check it out!

More proof that Dan DiDio sucks

Dan DiDio spoke at a con, and asked his audience, "How many of you actually understood Final Crisis?" He got the people who indicated they had to stand up because apparently they're his "idols".

Good pictures of Iceman on dA? Harder to find that you'd think.

The thing about looking for fanart on deviantart is that you will find a) a lot of unrelated crap, and b) a lot of crappy art.

But sometimes, there's good stuff. Like these:
