What American accent do you have?
Your Result: The Inland North

You may think you speak "Standard English straight out of the dictionary" but when you step away from the Great Lakes you get asked annoying questions like "Are you from Wisconsin?" or "Are you from Chicago?" Chances are you call carbonated drinks "pop."

Now, I don't, actually, have an American accent. (In fact, the longer I stay in Halifax, the more like a Maritimer I sound. I think it's the whole living-with-a-Newfie, randomly-running-into-Cape-Bretoners thing. It's changing my accent!) But I spent a few, young, formative years (age 4 to halfway through grade 1) in Calgary, which is the inland midwest, and north of the American border. So, this is fairly accurate, I guess.

Although the idea that I sound like someone from Chicago does bizarre things to my due South-fic readin', Biker Mice From Mars-lovin' mind.

And of course I say "pop", I'm Canadian, that's what most of us say. X3
