just a little update

...I've managed to (temporarily?) overcome my writer's block and begun work on the beginning of Once More, With Feeling. I've abandoned the idea of doing a prologue from the villain's p.o.v. I've figured out pretty much everything that will happen, roughly; now it's down to writing it. (And rewriting the waking scene.)

Whipped cream shall be involved. And more sex. Sometimes in combination. ;)

In other news, I was about to make nachos when I noticed in the mirror that the reason my tongue hurts is because there is a diagonal laceration across it. It never bled, which is highly unusual for a mouth injury - there's a lot of blood in there. I hope it's not a symptom of somehting, and am currently hoping it's just something I somehow did when I was playfighting on Thursday.

Yay for overcoming writer's block! I used to have the worst block, on and off, for years. It suckeded. (Now I'm mostly past it...but still slow and lazy. Whups! XD )

Also, hope yer random cut heals up okay. If there's no blood, it had probably healed up a bit already. I'm not sure why, but cuts and burns and the like seem to heal WAY faster if they're inside your mouth. So hopefully that's all it is. :)

Apparently that's ebcause of all the blood that goes to your mouth. (I looked it up.) It's the same reason why you bleed like a sonuvabitch, but it encourages healing.

So, taking the way my lips darken when I eat as a sign of eating=more blood yay, I shall eat and hope it encourages healing. I guess.

(And at work, there were chocolate coated cheesecake bites! Yay for the veteran Merchant Marines!)
