Jun. 30th, 2010 05:04 pmI had a bunch of stuff to say, let's see how much I remember!
☺ YAY I HAS A PRIDE FLAG! Go go go see my profile, it's there, waving merrily in a data breeze! Rainbooooooows~
☺ I bought Generation X: Genogoths by J. Steven York. It was basically a continuation of Generation X: Crossroads and was thereby entertaining, but while it had some good moments it wasn't as overall enjoyable as Crossroads, in my opinion. It kind of felt like a middle-of-a-trilogy book, actually, except that there isn't a third book, and there wasn't enough left hanging for there to be one. Still 99% less bizarre/depressing than Lobdell's novel. It amuses me how Jono has a different background depending on which author you're reading, and none of them conflict with the comics, just with each other...
☺ Long-legged boycat keeps sneezing. I hope it's a headcold and he gets over it really soon, because it's making Tai crazy with worry. (I am also concerned, of course.)
☺ WTF is this "X Campus" thing I saw in the comic book store?!
☺ I was tempted to buy an Andorian bobble-head doll today, but refrained, as I have no place to put it.
☺ I have something specifically to mention to kiffie, but I'll be buggered if I can remember what it is. (._.)> *scritch*
☺ SoBe Piña Colada is too sweet to drink a whole bottle in one sitting. :/
☺ I am now caught up to the end of season 7 with NCIS. Mostly. I have a few things missing, still, but eh. I could say a bunch of stuff about that, but I made the mistake of reading fanfic before I posted my thoughts, and now I all twisted around by fannish rage over certain virally spreading mischaracterizations. So maybe I should watch them again. >_>
☺ I watched the first few episode of CHUCK. I didn't hate it, but I don't think it's a show I could watch regularly, even though I do kinda like the titular character.
