When I was still in schools with "high" in the designation, my friend J* was expanding his music tastes much more rapidly than I was. He liked this (all-girl, I think) indie pop band called Caub, and he got me absolutely hooked on this one song: "My Chinchilla".

Well, it turns out that the video is on YouTube. I wonder if half the reason he liked them was how they dressed, honestly. Anyway, it's a cute song, even though it's kinda short. (The video may possibly be NSFW. There is a scene where Satan is using the toilet, but it's not like you see anything as a result of his pantslessness, thanks to his newspaper.)

*Name with-held because I felt like it.

YES! :D It's from the movie, when the girl band and the boy band are having a world-crossing contest to see who gets to keep the name "The Chipmunks" and get a record deal.

I think we had it.

One of my favorite parts was when they visited that little foreign prince, and she calls him a twerp, and he goes "Twerp? What's a twerp?" in his funny little accent. Me and my siblings used to quote that all the time.

It was actually a pretty good cartoon for when it came out, but it didn't really take off at the time.

No, drool isn't a good addition to any electrically powered peripherals, so far as I am aware, nor are keyboard keys a good addition to your face. Hope you had a good sleep. ^^;

I saw Dazzler in the YouTube clip, and I was like, awww! Because she was always one of my faves. I was a little kid back in the 80s though, so I wouldn't have appreciated the show then. Alas. Well, they brought the 90s show back on tv. Maybe they'll do the same for the 80s. lol

My best friend tracked it down when we were in our early teens and really getting into the comics. :3
