Yeah, the critter in question waited until I had regained my feet and then pointedly stood up adn went to sleep in the spare bedroom for the rest of the night. Which was magnanamous of him, given I tripepd by kicking him in the ass with my forward stepping foot, then banged into the wall, then landed on him, then the floor where his legs were. There was no retaliatory biting or growls, just a sense of eyerolling disdain for my klutz out.
Been there, done that. Not long ago, I tripped over a a furry little body and nearly brained myself on an open cabinet door (thanks whoever left it open) while knocking a breakable on the tile floor. It broke. But, yeahhhhh, no warm-bodied injuries.
