Did you see it in 2D or 3D? Were you satisfied with your choice? If you saw it in both, which do you recommend?

I'm trying to figure out which to go to.

(No spoilers, please.)

I saw it in 3D and liked it. I would rec it if you have the money to spend. If not then 2D is also good.

I wonder what the price difference is? The website for the theater doesn't say. :/

I don't know what the prices are at your local theater but at mine, the price ranges from 3 to 6 dollars difference depending on the time of day.

I paid $10..for the Empire Extra package..the big ass screen and awesome sound, reserved seating theater they have in Dartmouth Crossing, and on an off day..a Tuesday...I dunno if they have matinee prices for Empire Extra, or if it's always 10 bucks.

We'll be catching an evening show at Parklane (so, down town) on a Thursday... possibly the price will be higher. Ah, well.

I watched it in 3D...not too many spectacular things in this one for 3D...but still neat.

The gentleman caller and I saw it in 2d. No regrets. Nothing really felt like it had been shot to look cool in 3d.

I saw it in 3D and loved it. But the friends I went with said they could have seen it in 2D.

I think I tend to find 3D movies so amazing because I don't experience depth-perception in my day to day life the same way as most people. X3;;

Oh! Do you see it in 3D when you go to a movie? If so, the technology must not rely on binocular optical illusion. Huh.

I do! :D The old-school red and blue glasses I can't use, but I seem to be able to view today's 3D movies. :3 If it does require binocular vision. . .then it could be possible that the glasses do something to help me see with both eyes?

I saw it in 2D, as 3D gives me horrendous headaches. :(

I think I may have gotten a headache the last time (also the first time) I saw a 3D film, but I mostly just remember trying to fit the effects glasses over my regular glasses.

It's a post-conversion, so it's not like there's anything amazing that was filmed ONLY for 3D (although there are certainly shots that were filmed in ways that would ultimately look good in 3D. Nothing like the same in Captain America, though). I saw it in 2D and was pleased as punch.

My best friend saw it once in 2D and once in 3D. She said that it was neat, but the only thing that really stood out for her was Chris Evan's ass (if you like that sort of thing, though, it looks pretty damn good regardless of dimensions). ^_^;

I am becoming inclined to see it in 2D, especially as I don't have contacts so the glasses are awkward. But there are far fewer showings for the 2D compared to the 3D. Hmm. :/

Interesting. I don't think I've ever seen a release that had more for 3D in an area I've lived in. Usually far less, or about equal. Except for Avatar, but that was a special situation.

I think they've got one 2D theatre and two 3D ones running for it, judging by the times, which makes sense if most people are going to want to see it in 3D. But yeah, I'm used to it being the other way around.
