Star Trek is musical!

So I was on tumblr, looking through the charlie-x tag in hopes of finding a gif of Kirk getting slapped on the butt (no luck, alas) and I came across a post to the general gist of, "WTF? Uhura is singing and dancing while Spock plays a harpthing. What is this shit? I'm watching Star Trek, not GLEE! Get this music out of here!"

And I just had to laugh, because seriously, if you think this is unusual behaviour in a Star Trek episode, you are obviously painfully new to the fandom. In fact, TOS is the least likely of the bunch to have this sort of thing happen, IIRC. Certainly Kirk is the only Captain to demonstrate no musical ability beyond dancing.

(P.S. If any of you have a gif of Kirk gettingbuttslapped, please post it!)

Here's one...I can maybe add text to the frames, but I doubt I could add a new frame just for text, like the Lance1 one, as this is packed almost to the 40kb limit. I'd hafta kill the quality.
