I may write a story where Sam approaches Steve because he's got that look vets who've just got back to the USA get, except moreso, and Sam is, after all, a social worker. (Too bad Culvert University is mysteriously in Virginia, although I suppose for gummint reasons Steve could be there... waiting on campus for Bruce... but Sam would have to explicitly be visiting Jim or something....*ponders BFF bunnies, Capbunny in particular*)
