Comment with your favourite giant robot, and I will list five things I associate with you. They might make sense or they might be totally random. Then post that list, with your commentary, to your LJ. Other people (including me) can get lists from you, and the meme merrily perpetuates itself.
Penguins: I didn't even like penguins until I discovered the Penguin Self Defense Force game (through Fissy's fic about same). Alas, the game doesn't seem to be available anymore. Anyway, yeah, I went from finding them somewhat sinister to ruling a planet of them. Plus I have all this penguin-swag. My mother actually put a moratorium on penguin-themed Christmas presents, and then got me more anyway.
Star Trek: Abiding obsession. I visit my parents and we watch Star Trek. I order out-of-print paperback's online. I write essays and fanfic and wiki articles. I just really like it! Except Janeway. I dislike Janeway. *steals the Doctor to Bajor*
Fanfic: I can't tell you how cool it was to discover that my friends and I weren't the only ones making up stories about our favourite characters, and that hey, you could write them down... but if you're into fanfic, you probably already experienced that moment.
Beads: I own so many. SO MANY, YOU GUYS. I don't even remember how I got into beads, but I suspect it might have had to do with yard sales? Maybe? Anyway, making your own jewelry is fun.
Comics: Pictures and text. Marvelous. (Er, pun not intended.) I just wish they weren't driving me up the wall right now.
