You know, if they ever do make transporter beams like in Star Trek a common technology, I hope someone out there finds a safe way of using them to drain one's sinuses because UGH. My face hurts. *grimace*
No...just no. Matter to energy transporters = you just got killed piece by piece (don't cross the streams) and a clone of you was just created somewhere else. As for sinuses, Sinutab (go figure) really works against that "punched in the face by a Mack truck" feeling.
Nono, I want to beam the snot out of my sinuses. The rest of me would stay put. (And also supposedly in Star Trek you're molecules are broken down, converted into energy, shot at the location you are beaming to, and reassembled. Nobody dies. I remember this getting explained to someone from the 20th or 21st century somewhere... Treknology = magic.)
Hm. Sinutab, you say? I may add that to my list of pharmaceuticals to give a whirl. I remember Dristan working for me, but I am broke as a broke thing until payday, so I'll just have to keep working the NeoCitran + Loratidine tablet cobo, which fortunately works better on my now-reduced symptoms.
