What to do, what to do...

I have a sunburn!

I have to go outside again today (and tomorrow) so "staying out of the sun" is not going to happen.

I have aloe gel (sweet sweet aloe gel) which was great last night and would be great today if I could keep reapplying it as needed, BUT

I intend to put on sunblock today, for obvious reasons.

NO WHERE can I find advice about which of these topical solutions is the right one (although I saw a reccommendation for "aloe lotion containing sunblock" but didn't find any of that at the drug store).

Blaaaaar.

Sympathy and anecdotes appreciated! Advice will be too late.

I have no advice to offer, but you do have my sympathy. Sunburns suck.

I appreciate the sympathy. I feel fortunate that a) I found my company baseball cap! and b) the day remained overcast, cool and at times quite foggy. There were moments when I shivered, and my ass turned into a block of ice, but it felt WONDERFUL on my skin!

And so did the aloe. :D
