1. K'Ehleyr, smug

*dreamy sigh* Isn't she pretty?

I had actually forgotten that I had this icon listed under "smug". XD She does look a bit smug, but I never use it for that, really. Suzie Plaxton, who played the lovely (snarky, clever, passionate, wry) K'Ehleyr also played one of my fave TNG Vulcans, Dr. Selar, of whom I have no icons because her wig was kind of unfortunate, Lady Q on Voyager, and has apparently also played an Andorian in *gagspithiss*Enterprise.

Which is why I use this icon in a lot of my posts about Andorians, actually. But mostly I just use K'Ehleyr when I'm talking about TNG awesomeness, or wish to gaze upon her pretty face. ;3



2. Riker plays with dolls

I found this scene hilarious, and it's really a great example of what made me come around to liking Will Riker: SILLINESS. I mean, he's holding a doll of his captain up to his mouth and wiggling it to make it "talk" as he imitates the man's voice and accent in reply to something Picard said. He also tried to leave the room with the doll. XD I really loved him in that moment, it's so playful!

This replaced a previous icon that declared that Jonathan Frakes (the actor who plays Riker) is secretly a muppet, because in retrospect, that's not actually a secret.

I primarily use this for posts/comments where I am being silly, playful, amused, or talking about toys.



3. into the fire
Icon by sirenicons. Birth of the pimpernel in the musical. "Never hold back your step for a moment!"

For those of you who don't know about the Scarlet Pimpernel musical, "Into the Fire" is the name of the song that the lyrics quoted in both the icon and my desc of it (reproduced above).

I love the Scarlet Pimpernel. I love that song.

This is my icon for being a hero, for being bold, for (mainly) talking about those things, and about Percy. :3



4. team shep, watching you

I wanted an icon featuring Team Sheppard, because they're awesome, and I wanted an icon about how Rodney loves John, because he so does. This icon does double duty!



5. Boostle

The Blue & Gold team, and the first guys for whom I ever posted explicit sexin's on the interwebs! I nearly deleted this icon yesterday, actually -- I've just had it for so long, I kind of want to replace it with something a bit less grainy or something, but few of my other Booster & Beetle icons are this kind of happy.

I use this to talk about Booster Gold and Blue Beetle, apart or together. Lately mostly commenting on fanart of them, I notice.

Normally I choose icons I don't understand, but I don't know a thing about Bioware, so I'm not choosing any of those, because even if you explain I doubt I'd get it. ^^; I just don't have the context. (Which is too bad, since some of them are really pretty.)

I've (clearly) already been meme'd, but I am aghast that you would even think of deleting Booster and Beetle! They are made of HAPPY, sir! Lookit their faces! They smile for you! X3

And hey, the Andorian eps of Enterprise were really good. Plaxton and Coombs, at the same time, is like candy!

Enterprise wasn't that bad. I enjoyed it. It did get convoluted towards the end, but they tried to make an about-face halfway through the series which Did Not Help Things.

I say: watch the Andorian eps, and watch In A Mirror, Darkly (the Mirror Universe ep). The first set are tied into other eps but are entirely watchable on their own, while the Mirror Universe eps are self-contained.
