Class starts at 11:30am.
I am running a tad late
So I walk into the classroom
at 11:30am exactly.
(Cricket chirp)
No one is there.
There's an easter egg
On one desk - only clue.
No one is there!
Not even the prof!
So I go upstairs
To ask the faculty secretary
If the doctor is out today
And see his door is open.
In I walk.
"Isn't there class today?"
There is not.
Last class was the last class,
And wasn't I there?
Yes, but I must have zoned out.
Dammit, anyway.
I'm supposed to use this time
To work on my paper
But instead of the library,
I head to the lab
And write this.
