What's the first Star Trek episode you ever saw (or remember seeing)? Any series, whatever you saw first.

For me, the first I can remember is "Devil in the Dark". To me, the Horta looks like a big, scary, mobile pizza.

Put me off pizza for years.

For me, it was one of the Original Series episodes that had Harry Mudd in it. I can't recall which one, but I can remember watching it with my dad when I was really little.

The Mudd ones all blur together for me. Including the episode of the animated series, come to think of it. o.O

The first Trek I remember seeing was not an episode, but Star Trek IV: The One With The Whales. I must have seen episodes before that, but considering Star Trek was ALWAYS on, I cannot say for sure which ep it was.

Oh, I'm sure I saw eps of TOS before that -- raised by Trekkies! -- but that was the first one that ever stuck with me. Possibly because it traumatized me. XD

I definatley watched TOS before TNG came out, but I would have been too young to remember which specific episode I saw first. I just watched it all the time on the CBC.

Yup, then it went away and I was sad. Then TNG was announced and I was happy. I thought the ship looked really weird, and that was before getting a top down view and seeing the saucer section was an OVAL. Now I'm so used to the Galaxy class that I think the TOS Constitution looks weird :) though I still don't like looking at it in an "Hey that's an oval" view.

The first one I have distinct memories of seeing all the way through was "Unimatrix Zero, Part I" from Voyager, because someone I knew held a viewing party where we watched it directly before Part II aired. I'm pretty sure I saw Voyager episodes before that (along with at least part of one of the TOS movies), and I know I caught at least part of a TNG episode while it was still on the air, but the memories sort of blur together into something like, "Look! People in SPACE on a funny-looking saucer-ship-thing!"
