Okay, my excitement may be premature. Because it's not, like, a sequel or a prequel to the original movie, it's some kinda remake. And it doesn't have anything to do with the TV series, and JOSS WHEDON IS NOT INVOLVED!

This is only increasing my renewed urge to write that Buffy/Lost Boys and/or Buffy/Monster Squad fic.

You do realize that Joss was personally responsable for everything that made Buffy awsome, right? The original movie was only lacking in greatness because the higher ups kept fucking with it.

I just ignore him. Have you seen the comic that shows what the movie was supposed to be? So good.


But I liked the movie too, I don;t get why it's considered a bad movie. Sure, there were problems and it's tone is really weird do to the behind the scenes battle ut it's still a pretty good movie.

I have not seen this comic, no.

The weird tone is, I think, part of why I like the Buffy movie. X3 It's like, suspended between Lost Boys and Clueless.

I loved Buffy the Movie and Buffy the TV Show both for their own reasons, so I can sit back and enjoy the wank this is going to produce with true hipster ironic detachment for a change. :P
