I am taken (ha!) with that alternate reality, and at work I wrote two ficlets about that universe's Sam and Rodney before they got divorced.

And then I got home and found a 4 part epic set in that universe on my f-list.

I'm sorry to hear that (well, no, I love the universe so anything written in it makes me happy) Umm....do you have a link to the epic? And your ficlets?

My love for the universe means that I'm not actually unhappy, just kinda frustrated that I look like a total slacker. :( Here's the index page of the epic (http://community.livejournal.com/otherworlds_lib/72690.html) -- part 4 doesn't seem to be up, yet. My ficlets will be posted here once I type them up. (Last night I got distracted by a massive icon war, and then suddenly it was bedtime, or they'd be up already.)
