SGA 5.15 "The Prodigal"
Nov. 8th, 2008 07:11 pmVERY AWESOME EPISODE.
I have been waiting for the next (and YAY final) installment of the Michael story. I am 100% glad Teyla killed him and the kid and hubby survived. There was so much badassness in this episode, and so much John & Rodney love, and Teyla being awesome, and Ronon being about 15 seriously, and Vega kicking the shit out of a hybrid when she was still woggy from being stunned and just had to brain a bypass on a locked door without a computer, and Lorne! His little face! When he fell down! And the way he bounced through the smoke and burning debris!
The car races! The faces Zelenka makes about John & Rodney, and then totallycockblocking interrupting their emotional pre-suicide-mission goodbye. Good LORD does John suck at goodbyes. Even ones that aren't really goodbyes. "Here's to many more [suicide missions]." Rodney is learning ways to get around The Issues. Good Rodney! Fix the jumpers next time. (I was actually sure they were going to say "but we moved all those jumpers to the jumper bay!" I am amused by how John remembers promises Rodney made two years ago. Then again, it is spaceship-related.)
This episode was just all around great for everyone involved. Which did not include Keller! Although she was mentioned, kinda. Alas. *cough*
Joe was distractingly pretty in this episode. :D
