this morning's destruction

So this morning I get up and my throat is thick and in need of tea. I put on the kettle and I select my tea bag (mint tisane), and give a rinse to the heavy glass mug/tankard I intend to use. In goes the bag, in goes the water, CRACK! goes the glass, and suddenly there's tea all over the counter!

It split perfectly in half. Not even on the seam.

oh, G00...

Both of my parents claim it was love at first sight. The amusing part is that "first sight" was different for each of them. (There's a lot more to the story than that, but I plan to add a couple of explosions and sell the screenplay for a million dollars someday, so I'm not getting into it now. ;3)
