This is not a GIP (really!), but that is a new icon. It's from one of the Marvel Illustrated Swimsuit Issues, and it's Jean-Paul Beaubier (aka Northstar). All he's wearing is that swimsuit. Around his neck. Also, it's hard to see in this icon, but the beach is filled with guys sort of reacting to that. XD

So, what the hell have I been up to lately?

Well, aside from being a total slackass about actually applying for the rp journals I want (for some reason I'm getting writer's block on the apps even though I know all the info I need to put down), I've been watching my way slowly through the first season of Starsky & Hutch, I watched 11 episodes of season 3 of Due South with sinfonica, and I've been reading fanfic. Or at least looking for it.

Actually, while looking for Iceman/Northstar fic I found a recc -- for one of my fics! :O
I am so unbelievably tickled! :D

I've been a font of fic ideas lately. The ideas come so fast I can't write them, so I've ben kinda bouncing them off lakidaa and logging our AIM session. For example, this morning I'm thinking of a story with pirates! Nightcrawler and Shadowcat captaining small crews of other X-Men and mutants who are playing the roles of rival pirate crews, out in smallish ships on the lake. Marshmallow cannons are featured. And they have a great time and then Corsair arrives! :D Because he is visiting to meet Annie and whatnot. And Mam'zelle Hepsibah tells Hank he gets more handsome everytime she sees him. :3

There've been gender-swap AU characters made that I'm quite fond of, and just lots and lots of ideas, mainly for JP/Bobby stuff. Wigstock chaperone duty. Skating (about 5 different ideas - only ONE will survive! B|). Paintings. Magic beer. Various visits to Chicago for a crossover I will someday figure out how to write.

It's like I'm writing a term paper! Except I'm not in class! XD
