I saw them walking down the both sides of the street downtown as my bus went by, wearing Guy Fawkes masks anywhere but over their faces and handing out papers. Around the corner (we didn't go that way) I thought I saw a Red Pirate.

Oh, man, Anonymous' protests mst just be the most hilarious things ever. Where else could signs like 'longcat is loooooooooooong' and someone randomly shouting 'i hear Tom Cruise hates mudkips' not only be understood, but also appreciated properly?

It's a little bit like surrealist performance art, really, and I imagine that's part of the hook. People ask them what you're doing, why you're wearing a costume, what's with the masks, what's with the music, etc., and it gives them the opening to give them a flyer or tell them it's a protest.

Also, it makes protesting more fun.
