The focus on Wolverine is a bit annoying, but from the trailer that I saw, it looks the first few episodes are going to be "Hank and Logan's Excellent Adventure" as they try to reassemble the team.
And really, Logan getting knocked through a wall by depressed-and-living-in-a-flophouse Scott is probably going to be worth sitting through the first hour or two..
However, Scott is still wearing that gimp-suit, I'm not too thrilled about Emma ever, and it looks like Bobby and Kitty are interchangeable to the promo artists.

Okay, that I would very much like to see.

I was complaining about Emma being in there, and my roomie pointed out that she's been one of the most visible characters for the last 10 years. :/ Which is a point.
I kinda wonder how the show will be received when more than one of the characters in that promo shot are currently being implied to have been skrulls for... a really long time... in the current Marvel-wide crossover extravaganza. :\
it looks like Bobby and Kitty are interchangeable to the promo artists.
Oh? This is the only promo I've seen, so I'd be interested in finding out what prompted you to say that.I see what you mean (http://www.marvel.com/news/moviestories.1598.First_Look_Wolverine__The_X-Men).
eta: Update! I can't find the trailer for love or money, and this is apparently because the music in it was used without permission and now there's a big lawsuit thing!
See, I'm ignoring the Marvel cross-over extravaganza because they are almost always *bad*. I'm following Astonishing -- which is always good even if it's always late -- and Xmen First Class because it is always GOOD.
Scott and Emma looks like a BDSM couple when they're in costume -- especially when Scott has a full-head cowl.
I *like* the design for Bobby, actually. I'm not so sure about Kitty, but they shouldn't be interchangeable.
I am amused that Hank has *finally* gotten a shirt. His uniforms generally range from bad to terrible, so we'll see what it looks like in the show.
XM:FC is pretty much the only Marvel book I'm liking right now, though I'm still pulling X-Factor because I want to keep an eye on Rictor. ^^;
Emma's Silver Age corset get-up was less suggestive by today's standards, really.
Bobby's design looks a lot like the one we saw in the Mutant X comic, with better hair and no facial scut. I think I kinda like it. :3
I generally liked Hank wandering around in slacks and button-up shirts (rolled up sleeves! Hawaiian prints! What not to love? :D) but his costumes... I really disliked the ones he's been in since the change, but then, I'm also not so fond of him as a cat. Mainly because he seemed like more of a dog person (http://www.marvunapp.com/Appendix3/sassafrasdefend.htm).
I liked Emma's outfits in Generation X -- you know, where she wore *shirts* and knee length coats.
Yeah, it's like Bob from Mutant X. That's not a bad design at all.
I generally like Hank's civilian clothes, from his three-piece suits to his Hawaiian shirts (though I'm not to fond of his cut-off overalls), but his uniforms are always pretty bad. When the best one ever was just a pair of briefs, you know you've got design problems.
Ooo, I didn't know he had a dog! That's so cute.
I don't actually mind the cat-form; it's the fact that no artist draws it the same that drives me buggy. You'd think they'd agree at least on whether he walks flat-footed or on his toes like a cat, and maybe they could come to an agreement over the length of his hair? And maybe whether he looks like a housecat, a lion, or a hideous mash-up of pug, bear, and cat-thing...
From Gen X I mostly remember Emma in a bustier, pants, thigh-high boots, and a white blazer. And sometimes pajamas.
I'm pretty sure I had blocked the cut-off overalls. XD
The lack of consistency is very irritating. Sometimes he looks like a Persian cat (http://www.gotthelookpersiancats.com/html/photos_2.html), and sometimes he's got a definite outie muzzle. Sometimes he has digitigrade legs and sometimes he doesn't! Sometimes he doesn't seem to have a real thumb, but I only saw that once, really. :(
Emma was generally the most conservatively dressed she's ever been in GenX. It was nice to see that.
Oh, Hank has some really atrocities in his closet. What's scary is when Dark Beast shows up and he's wearing stuff that looks like he stole it from Hank -- the shiny metal pants were kind of reassuring in a "hi, this is the crazy one" way.
Ugh, I hate it when they make him look like a Persian. Cassaday isn't too bad about it, but Quietly would do a wonderful Hank in one panel, and do a *horrible* drawing in the next -- that fellow had *no* idea how to draw a muzzle.
She tended to slink around in gowns and frothy dresses when she was dealing with the Hellions, at least in the few issues of New Mutants I actually owned that dealt with this. Granted, she was way more classy and intimidating back then.
The shiny metal pants were a nice telltale, but there's the thing: they'd fit right in with what was being worn just kinda pre-M-Day. Scary!
No, just ugly leather ones. I meant it would fit right in with some of the styles floating around. Possibly I am thinking more the Kia Asamiya designs... (Oh, Kia. Why?)
