I currently have so many SGA fanfics bookmarked that it takes me 25 rotations of the scroll wheel to reach the bottom of the list.

That's not even taking into account however many is in the series folders.

^^; Mayhap I should rec a few and possibly make a flow chart as Step One in organizing this monstrous brood.

I should point out that I only bookmark the ones I like.

Oyyyy~

While my list of "Fics to Read" is also quite long, I doubt it comes close to taking that many scrolls to reach the bottom. :o

And that's just SGA! That doesn't include due South or Starsky & Hutch or The Sentinel or the many subfolders of "X-fic", not to mention the lose fiction!

Man.

...Obviously there's a lot of good fic in this fandom. >.>

If I were into the SGA fandom, I would definitely ask for your recs. Unfortunately, the only contact I've had with SGA is through crossover fics, so unless you have some crossover fics to rec... ^^;

But I utterly know the feeling of being a bookworm without books.

I do have some crossover fic! ;D Although a lot of crossover fic is kinda... bleh... So there's only a few.

Actually, the first SGA fic I ever read was actually a crossover of the DC-characters-as-a-gate-team variety. The only actual SGA character in it was Dr. Weir. X3

Let's see, I've got some SGA/Eureka (which I read despite having never watched Eureka, and thought was pretty good) and some SGA/NCIS (ditto) and SG-1/JAG (:D Ditto!). I recently found a SGA AU-fic that's a take on the X-Men movies (it was interesting, but probably more interesting if you know the SGA characters and there's some explicit sex involved).

That actually shows you the common things I find for crossovers, really: straight up show-meets-show, or else SGA characters in a different setting (I've seen that sort of thing with NCIS as well).

Whereas the kind I write but never post is like the first one I read: other characters imped into SGA. ^^;

I'm more partial to the show-meets-show type of crossover than the different setting kind. I'll take the SGA/DC or the SGA/X-men for five hundred. :D

SGA characters as movie-style mutants: Good Guys Don't Always Wear White (http://www.pertifity.com/fanfic/goodguys.htm) by Nel

DC characters (specifically JLI/"I Can't Believe It's Not the Justice League!" characters) as an SGA gate-team (with actual SGA and SG-1 characters entioned or cameoing): Staying Alive (http://community.livejournal.com/boostle/141429.html) by DoctorV.

Both have gay sex! The first fic is long and dramatic, the second fic is short and funny.
