Dec. 10th, 2007 12:49 amAHA! Found the album, anyway. The Gift by The McCarters.
I take pleasure in your smile
I take comfort in your touch
I take every chance I can to be with you
I take heart just thinking of you
When the winds of fate turn cruel
I have known no better love than loving you
Loving you, loving you
I have known no better love that loving you
(and then the bit I can't remember, followed by:)
Though we're bound for separate cover
Surely we must have our day
You have set my soul on fire loving you
Loving you, loving you
I have known no better love than loving you
(and then a third verse)
I take pleasure in your smile
I take comfort in your touch
I take every chance I can to be with you
I take heart just thinking of you
When the winds of fate turn cruel
I have known no better love than loving you
Loving you, loving you
I have known no better love that loving you
(and then the bit I can't remember, followed by:)
Though we're bound for separate cover
Surely we must have our day
You have set my soul on fire loving you
Loving you, loving you
I have known no better love than loving you
(and then a third verse)

MacCartney?
Mc- or Mac- something that starts with a C and has an r and maybe and N or T in it.
As you can see, it's partly that I don't remember. They were a big big hair 80s mountain country band. Mostly sang love songs. I know most of them off by heart, but this one I suddenly can't remember very well.
