SGA 3x07 -- Common Ground

GOOD FUCKING EPISODE.

I like the continuation of the Genii thing. I like the Wraith (he has a nice laugh. Also I notice John didn't name him). This was a hell of a decent episode for John, and Rodney and Ronon were especially wibble-worthy, each in his own way. Oh, Rodney. <3 (I'm beginning to think you really do have a thing for John in the show. Man.) Sort of a fairly neutral episode Teyla-wise, Carson had a good short scene, and Elizabeth finally brought up that whole "my country of origin doe snot deal with terrorists" thing -- I'm not saying I agree or don't agree with the policy, but she's a diplomat and she seemed to have been forgetting it at times in the past, which bugged me.

I'm glad you like that Wraith because he will be coming back (I just adore Christopher Heyerdahl as both Halling and the numerous Wraiths he's played over the course of the series)

Oh hey, it's the same guy who plays Halling? Man, I think I like him better as the Wraith. XD It's just that when I look at him as Halling, I keep thinking of Qui-gon Jin...

The first season was all about Halling (Rising, Hide and Seek, Thirty Eight Minutes, Suspicion, Siege) and then he started playing Wraith (No Man's Land, Misbegotten, Common Ground, Reunion, Seer, This Mortal Coil, Be All My Sins Remember'd). I'm sure there are more 4th season eps he's in, but that's all that have been announced so far.

Haha :) Well, Chris isn't exactly hurting for work. He's well sought-after. The SGA people like him and he likes them, so it's nice for him to get to come in and play around once in a while. He's just amazing in "Sanctuary" (Amanda Tapping's series).

I'm going to have to look him up. If I could see him with shorter hair, I might be able to convince myself he's not a Jedi.

I've heard about Sanctuary, and I wish I could support the people involved and watch it, but it looks too scary. ^^;

It's not that scary. Complicated, but not terribly scary. Besides, if nothing else you can play spot the SGA actor :) Lorne! Chuck! Rodney! Halling! Sam! Carson! The list continues.
