Okay, this is me learning how to post. I hope.

The reason I started this journal is because I got addicted to a few lj communities, like scans_daily and boostle and probably titans_together. It wasn't until I was drowned by a tsunami of plotbunnies that I caved and started an account, though. I just suddenly realised that if I wanted to see certain kinds of fanfic out there, I was going to have to write some, just to prod other people into joining in.

And that's when Garfield Logan/Changeling and Victor Stone/Cyborg suddenly woke up in my head after a couple years of dormancy and me collecting Titans comics like mad, and they cried out unto my hindbrain "write us!" and lo, their plea was transformed by the muse into far more plotbunnies and fic ideas than I could possibly manage. But, I'm going to try. I have three fics started already today.

I s'pose I should figure out how to join those communities now...

As for joining the communities, that's fairly simple. *grins* On every community info page, except for the ones with closed membership, there is a line of text before the information is given - just above the buttons you can click to friend it, or post to it, or any of that. That line of text reads Below is information about the "titans_together" community on LiveJournal. The next sentence in the line has two links - one will let you join, one will let you leave. They're clearly labeled. You click on the link to join, and the page will walk you through the rest!

Thanks! I did actually find that once I looked. Now if only I were smart enough to remember how to get to said communities. When I get home to my computer (posting from work, bad me) I'll bookmark them, I think.

:) Oh, when I started lurking, before I got my account, I was so terribly clueless. I couldn't figure out how to view comments. Or look under cut tags.

Good to see that you have a place for the nifty stuff rattling around in your hindbrain (forebrain, now?) ...

Too bad I don't have much to offer yon communities myself, cranky old fossil that I am .. *winks*

You can if you want! :D But I don't find anonymous comments annoying, so long as there's a name at the bottom (if it's from someone I know) and/or they're not abusive.
